ACCESS
From Colorado Springs, take the North Cheyenne Canyon Road to High Drive. Approximately 1 mile up High Drive is the trailhead.
ATTRACTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS
Motorcycles, foot and horse trail. The trail is moderately difficult and is open to motorcycles which are very often seen on the trail. Other trails will fork off this trail.
NARRATIVE
The trailhead is located at the top of High Drive on the left side of the road. The trail leads in a southwesterly direction. This is a 4 mile trail that leads to Jones Park. Trail is also known as "Captain Jacks" trail.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
It is recommended that motorcycles use this trail in summer months only because of snow depth.

Temperatures are similar to Colorado Springs. Afternoon thunderstorms are common throughout the summer.
CAMPING
Camping is permitted at undeveloped sites along the trail. Camping is recommended 300' of any trail or stream. Use no-impact camping techniques. Campfire permits are not required but please be sure your fire is dead out before you leave. Pack it in / Pack it out rule applies. Respect other trail users.

Drinking water is not readily available. Water from streams should be treated before use. Hikers are advised to carry an adequate supply.

From Colorado Springs, take 26th street to Gold Camp Road. Approximately 2 miles up Gold Camp Road is the trailhead.

This is a heavily used trail, especially by motorcycles. It winds in and out of cool pine forests and offers scenic vistas of Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak and Gold Camp Road.

SECTION OF TRAIL BETWEEN FDT #667 AND FDT #701.
One and one-half miles down FDR #379 / Frosty Park Road is where FDT #701 Foresters Trail begins. About one-eighth of a mile down this trail FDT #668 / Pipeline takes off to the right.

ACCESS
From Colorado Springs take Hwy 24 to Woodland Park. Turn north on Hwy 67 and go approx. 15 miles to Westcreek. From Westceek take FDR 340 to FDR200. Then take FDR 200 past Trail Creek Campground 1.3 miles. The trail crosses FDR 200 at this point. The trail is designated with a split rail fence and white arrow markers.
From Colorado Springs, take Hwy 24, through Woodland Park, to Divide. Turn north on FDR 357. Go approx. .5 mile to FDR 359. Go west on FDR 359 approx. 10 miles to FDR 200. Go north on FDR 200 approx. 4 miles. The trail crosses FDR 200 just before the turn to Wildhorn Campground. The trail is designated with a split rail fence and white arrow markers.
ATTRACTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONSThis is a 45 mile motorcycle trail that parallels FDR 200 on the east; north and south of Signal Butte.
NARRATIVE
This trail had been used by motorcyclists for a long time but hadn't been officially on the system until 1991. Currently the district is working with a motorcycle club that is signing the trail and doing trail maintenance. This trail is under the white arrow system. This means that motor vehicles commonly travel on routes designated with white arrow signs.
